This privacy policy describes the overall MU Player (referred to "MU Player", the “Platform”, "we", "us" and "our") policy, explaining to you how we collect and process information when you use MU Player. MU Player provides you an intermediary platform where you can download and play audios and videos. You don’t have to create an account to use MU Player. When you use the Platform, we will collect some very basic information about you, which includes:

Such information includes your IP address, network type, mac address and identifier for advertising purposes and the version of the application you are using. We will also collect information regarding the device you are using to access the Platform, such as your device model, device ID, Android ID, operating system and system language and region.

Behavioral Information. In order to improve our services, we will collect information regarding your use of the Platform. Such information includes the format, title and size of the audios and videos you download or play. Please rest assured that we will not collect the audios and videos you download or share. We also collect information on how you interact with the Platform, the ads you view, the content you like, and the times you use the Platform to share content. We also infer your preferences, including your interests for the purpose of serving personalized advertising and to tell you about new services and opportunities.

Location. We will collect information about your location in order to customize your experience. We infer your approximate location based on your IP address. In certain jurisdictions, we may also collect Global Positioning System (GPS) information with your permission.

We use your information to allow you to use our services, fulfill our Terms of Service, and to improve and administer MU Player. We generally use the information we collect about you to:

The information we collect from you is stored on a server located in Singapore or the United States. We maintain major servers in Singapore and the United States to bring you our services globally and continuously.

If you access the Platform through an Android based device, your settings may allow you to “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads.” MU Player will not use in-app information collected from that device to infer your interests or serve ads to that device that are targeted based on your inferred interests. MU Player hopes you to honor opt-out preferences expressed using these controls.

By visiting the Platform, you consent to our collection, use and share of any personal information as outlined above.

6. Security

We seek to protect your information from unauthorized access, use and disclosure using appropriate physical, technical, organizational, and administrative security measures. Although we work to protect the security of your information, please be aware that no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

Where we do not need your information to provide the service to you, we retain it only for so long as we have a legitimate business purpose in keeping such information. We will update the “Last Updated” date at the top this privacy policy, which reflects the effective date of such policy. Your continued use of the services following these changes means that you accept the revised privacy policy. If you do not agree to the updated policy, you must stop using MU Player.
